Construction Escrow Agent
Heather joined our team in 2016 as Closing Coordinator and in late 2019 took over the Construction Escrow Agent position. Heather’s previous experience in banking and insurance, plus 3 years of learning our title software and practices made her a natural for this position. Construction Escrow is a challenging field, involving review of contracts, escrow management (spreadsheets on steroids) and customer relations. In this position you are working with the lender, the builder, the homeowners and both title and closing departments. The diversity of this position requires an extremely organized and “on-top-of-it” individual and Heather enjoys that challenge.
Heather’s message: “I love organization, so for the analytical portion of my job that works great. I also feel I make a great “peace-keeper” working with the different parties (builder, lender and homeowner). To me the numbers are important, but that’s not everything – there’s so much more to this position. It’s very rewarding to see an owner’s dream home become a reality and know that I played a part of that”.
